JMSS Year 10 entry interview preparation workshop (online)

The interview is the last thing standing between your child and a place at JMSS, and it is the part almost nobody practises. This is the same workshop we ran at Monash on 8 August. That one filled up, so we are running it again live over Google Meet for the families who missed out.

Run by JMSS and other selective school alumni who sat this exact interview.

What we cover

• The whole process end to end, so nothing on the day is a surprise.
• How to put a CV together, and what the panel is really reading it for.
• Two mock group activities, run the way JMSS runs them, with our assessors watching.
• Real interview questions from past years, with feedback on the spot.

What every student takes home

Written feedback on how they came across: what landed, and the one thing to work on before the day. Everyone who comes also gets our full JMSS CV and interview prep guide.

How the online version runs

Same format as the in-person session, not a webinar. Students go into small groups for the activities, so they are speaking and being assessed, not sitting and listening.

Your child will need a laptop or desktop with a working camera and microphone, and somewhere quiet to sit. A phone does not really work for the group tasks.

The Google Meet link arrives in your confirmation email as soon as you book, and it stays on your events page.

Every student gets individual feedback, so spots are limited.
